Raleigh, North Caroline is the capital city of North Carolina, a state in the United States. It is also well known by the name of City of Oaks as the city is surrounded by oak and pine trees. It is one of the most beautiful city of the US and provide a good number of tourist attraction sites. According to the 2007 census, Raleigh has a population of about three lakh fifty nine thousand three hundred and thirty two. It is also considered as the fifth largest city of the United States and the second populous city in North Carolina. There are also art museums, which exhibit a rare collection of fine art and crafts. A good collection of public art of Atlanta and Washington are found in the North Carolina Museum of Art. Some of the other popular museums in Raleigh are Raleigh City Museum, North Carolina Museum of History and Stewart Theater. There are also entertainment centers in Raleigh where grand performances are held by world class singers and musicians.
